A storm system developing off the Southeast coast could bring gusty winds, rain, and rough seas to coastal areas from Florida to Delaware between Thursday and Memorial Day. The storm's low-pressure zone could advance up the East Coast, and depending on where it tracks, up to several inches of rain could fall in some locations. The forecast uncertainty is highest north and west of the coast of the Carolinas. The storm is not expected to become tropical, but the National Hurricane Center is monitoring it.
