Mixed Weather Ahead: Showers, Storms, and Sunny Spells

Showers and storms are likely tonight, with additional rounds of rain possible on Wednesday. While heavy storms with flooding downpours are slightly possible, the downpours will become spottier by later Wednesday. The cold front will slowly move through the region, bringing a decrease in rain chances. Some areas west of D.C. could see at least a half-inch of rain. There is a small flooding aspect possible, especially tonight, but overall rain chances are on the decline.
