Mixed Weekend Rains Bring Relief to Southern Minnesota

Southern and southwest Minnesota experienced the heaviest rainfall over the weekend, with some areas receiving nearly an inch of rain while others received only a fraction of that. There will be a couple more chances of rain this week, with isolated showers and thunderstorms expected in different parts of the state. The first half of the week will be warm with near-normal temperatures, but it will be cooler towards the end of the week, especially in northern Minnesota.
