Record-breaking temperatures sweep across the US

The Twin Cities in Minnesota broke the record high temperature of 83 degrees set in 1931, with a temperature of 88 degrees on Wednesday. The forecast predicts more record highs in the coming days, with highs returning to July territory once again with 80s across most of central and southern Minnesota. However, the summer weather will come to an abrupt breakup this weekend with rain and colder temperatures, and there is a chance of snow on Sunday in eastern Minnesota and Wisconsin.
