San Diego County Braces for Scorching Heatwave This Week
TL;DR
San Diego County is experiencing its first major heat wave of the year, with temperatures expected to exceed 100 degrees in inland areas and deserts. Excessive Heat Watches are in place, and the county has activated its Cool Zones program to provide air-conditioned relief for vulnerable populations. Residents are advised to stay hydrated, use sunscreen, and limit time outdoors.
