"South Carolina Braces for Frigid Weather Blast"

Arctic air is bringing extreme cold to South Carolina and North Carolina, with temperatures dropping into the single digits in the mountains and into the teens across the Upstate. Wind chills will make it feel like the single digits, and even colder air is expected over the weekend. Sub-freezing temperatures could lead to burst pipes, and there's a possibility of a wintry mix or light glaze of ice in the Upstate on Thursday night into Friday. Another cold blast is forecasted for Saturday, with sub-zero wind chills and temperatures as low as 16 degrees in parts of the Upstate.
