Spring weather rollercoaster: from wintry start to warm 70s, then rain and storms.

Oregon's spring break will start with chilly showers and sunbreaks mixed with hail or snow at times. Sticking snow remains above 1,500 feet outside of the metro area, and a trace to 2 inches of snow is expected each morning near or above 1,000 feet. Showers will die down on Sunday, and temperatures will warm back to normal next week. A Winter Storm Warning is up for the Cascades and Coast Range tomorrow, and roads through the Coast Range will only be snowy during the late night and very early morning hours.
