Storms Cause Bank Collapse and Damage in North Texas

Severe storms hit North Texas, leaving thousands without power and causing damage to buildings and property. The Independent Financial Bank in Lavon had part of its roof collapse during a tornado warning, but there were no reported injuries. Large hail was reported in Sanger, Denton County, with some hailstones the size of golf balls. Lightning is believed to have caused a fire in Altoga, and power outages are still affecting nearly 30,000 customers in North Texas.
