Tornadoes wreak havoc in Mississippi and Alabama.

TV weatherman Matt Laubhan's prayer on air, "Dear Jesus, please help them. Amen," helped save lives in Amory, Mississippi, as a deadly category four tornado closed in. Laubhan's urgent demeanor convinced residents to take the storm seriously, despite the town's relaxed attitude to frequent "tornadic weather." Laubhan had spent much of the past week studying the infamous "super outbreak" of 2011, and knew the danger was real. His prayer challenged the traditional walls between his public role as a reporter and his private faith as a committed Christian.
