"Tri-State Area Hit by Major Snowstorm, NYC's Snow Drought Persists"
TL;DR
A significant overnight snowstorm has left parts of the tri-state area, including Orange, Ulster, and Sussex counties, with up to a foot of snow, while New York City continues its nearly two-year streak with less than an inch of snowfall. Central Park recorded barely a trace, and the rest of NYC saw minimal accumulation. The storm caused travel disruptions, but restrictions have been lifted. With another storm approaching, Storm Team 4 advises caution due to potential ice and flooding rainfall.
