Upcoming Storms to Bring Heavy Rain, Strong Winds, and Potential Highway Closures in California

A level 2 storm is expected to hit the Bay Area on Tuesday, bringing light to moderate rain for the morning commute and heaviest rain and strongest winds between 9 am - 1 pm. A Wind Advisory will be in effect for gusts 45-55 mph. The heaviest rain will exit in the early afternoon with scattered showers for the rest of the day. The Sierra will experience a Winter Storm Warning for 2-4 feet of new snow.
