Weather Update: Showers and Storms Continue, Heat Wave Hits Myrtle Beach and Western Oregon

Showers and thunderstorms are expected to continue in Metro Detroit at the start of the holiday week, with patchy dense fog in the morning. A cold front will bring an end to the rain by the evening, followed by clearing skies overnight. Drier weather and plenty of sunshine are forecasted for the 4th of July and Wednesday, with high temperatures reaching the upper 80s to lower 90s. However, thunderstorm chances return on Thursday afternoon and evening. The end of the week will bring a mixture of sunshine and clouds, with a chance of rain showers over the weekend.
