Winter Lingers: Cold Temperatures and Snowy Season Continues in US

Cold temperatures are expected across most of Minnesota and western Wisconsin on Sunday, with lows in the single digits and some below-zero temperatures in parts of northwestern and west-central Minnesota. The Twin Cities metro area is projected to reach the upper 30s on Monday, followed by lower 40s on Tuesday and Wednesday. The current snow season in the Twin Cities is in the eighth-snowiest position, with just two-tenths of an inch of additional snow needed to make it the seventh-snowiest. There may be some rain mixed with snow late Tuesday and Wednesday.
