Winter Storm Blankets New Mexico and Southern Rockies in Heavy Snowfall

A winter storm brought nearly two feet of snowfall to parts of New Mexico, particularly in the northern mountains, while other areas experienced rain. Road conditions may be icy overnight, and areas of fog and freezing fog may develop. Clear skies and a warming trend are expected starting Friday, with temperatures climbing back to average for mid-December. Another storm system is forecasted for late next week, bringing rain and snow to New Mexico and southern Colorado.
