"Winter Storm Warning: Twin Cities Braces for Biggest Snowfall Yet"

The northern Twin Cities have been added to the winter storm warning until 3 a.m. Thursday, with heavier snow bands dumping higher snowfall totals just north of the Twin Cities. The season’s biggest snowfall has hit central and southern Minnesota, with reports of moderate to heavy snow and accumulating totals. Early snowfall reports are coming in, and forecasts indicate a band of 2 to 6 inches of snow across much of central and southern Minnesota. Temperatures will continue to fall below freezing, leading to icy roads, but highs in the 40s are expected as soon as next Monday.
