Winter Storms Sweep Across Midwest Bringing Rain, Wind, and Snow.

A storm system will bring rain and wind to the entire Lower Peninsula of Michigan beginning late Thursday and lasting through mid-day Friday. Temperatures will reach 50 degrees or warmer for many locations on Thursday, but will fall to the low to mid-20s by Saturday morning. Scattered lake effect snow and cold air aloft induced snow showers are probable on Saturday, resulting in 1 inch or less of accumulation. The U.P. will get a big snow out of this. Wind gusts could reach or exceed 40 mph on Friday evening.
