US-led strike eliminates top ISIS leader in Syria.

The US Central Command has announced that a US strike in Syria has killed Khalid ‘Aydd Ahmad al-Jabouri, a senior ISIS leader who was responsible for planning ISIS attacks into Europe and developing the leadership structure for ISIS. The strike was a “unilateral” US operation and no civilians were killed or injured. The US said it was committed to the campaign to defeat ISIS and its operations “alongside partner forces in Iraq and Syria continues.”
