Sierra Space's Dream Chaser spaceplane, Tenacity, has passed a vibration test at NASA's Neil Armstrong Test Facility, preparing for its first flight to the International Space Station later this year. The shuttle-like spacecraft, resembling the retired Space Shuttle but smaller and autonomous, is designed for reusability and will be launched atop a United Launch Alliance Vulcan Centaur rocket. Sierra Space aims to support NASA's goal of fostering a private economy in low Earth orbit, with plans for future crew-carrying versions and a commercial space station called Orbital Reef.
