The internet of today prioritizes trending content and profitability, leaving little room for the peculiar and difficult. Twitter, in particular, was a platform that fostered an autistic community, but under the leadership of Elon Musk, it has lost its appeal. The loss of these spaces raises questions about the value of the internet when it no longer accommodates the fringe-dwellers and unique voices that once made it vibrant.
