Royals Unveil Downtown Crown Center Stadium as Part of $3B Redevelopment

The Kansas City Royals announced a $3 billion redevelopment plan at Crown Center, including a $1.9 billion ballpark and surrounding district. Funding would come from about $600 million in city support via tax-increment financing, Missouri tax credits, and roughly $2 billion in private financing.
