Niewiadoma-Phinney seizes Ventoux yellow as Vollering rues missed gap

On Mont Ventoux during the Tour de France Femmes, Kasia Niewiadoma-Phinney launched a long-range attack with about 9.7 km to go to grab the yellow jersey, while Demi Vollering earlier tried to close a gap and later staged a late surge but finished 1:16 behind. Vollering remains second in the GC, 15 seconds off the lead, as Reusser stayed in the chase and the stage reshapes the race heading into the final weekend.
