"Detroit Lions' 2024 Draft Dreams: From Mock Draft to Reality"
TL;DR
The Detroit Lions' pass defense struggled in 2023, prompting speculation about the team's draft strategy. With a need for a top cornerback, there's talk of the Lions trading up in the first round to secure a coveted player. The team's four picks in the top-100 of the draft provide flexibility for such a move, and acquiring a top cover corner on a rookie contract is seen as preferable. The potential trade is viewed as a means to address key needs and bolster the team's defense with the goal of contending for a Super Bowl.
