Patriots Day Two Camp Highlights: Stifling Defense and Rising Depth
The Patriots’ second training camp session featured a standout pass defense with contributions from Christian Gonzalez, Carlton Davis, John Saunders Jr., and Craig Woodson, who had the first interception of the summer. On offense, third-string QB Behren Morton looked sharp (5 of 6 in team drills), undrafted WR Nick DeGennaro showed reliable hands, TE Tanner Arkin earned first-team reps and even lined up as a fullback, and K Andy Borregales connected on six field goals from 30–50 yards. The team will practice again on Monday.
