Guardians DFA Estevan Florial, Welcome Back Steven Kwan
TL;DR
The Cleveland Guardians designated former Yankees top prospect Estevan Florial for assignment due to his poor offensive performance, batting just .173 in 36 games. Florial, who was traded to Cleveland for pitcher Cody Morris, had a brief moment of revenge against the Yankees earlier this year. Meanwhile, the Yankees are benefiting from Morris as their outfield, now featuring Aaron Judge, Juan Soto, and Alex Verdugo, has significantly improved.
