Preston Smith Finds Perfect Fit with Steelers After Trade Request
TL;DR
Preston Smith, recently traded from the Packers to the Steelers, expressed relief at returning to his preferred position as a 3-4 outside linebacker, a role he played for nine years before this season. Smith had been playing as a 4-3 defensive end under the Packers' new defensive coordinator, Jeff Hafley, but feels more comfortable in the Steelers' defensive system. He has started all nine games for the Packers this season and is ready to play for the Steelers on Sunday.
