"Ford's 1800-HP Electric Mustang Super Cobra Jet Aims to Shatter Records"

Ford has developed an all-electric drag racer, the Mustang Super Cobra Jet 1800, which aims to break the quarter-mile record for full-bodied electric cars. The car has two Cascadia Motion dual stack motor units under the hood that send their power to the rear wheels through a three-speed automatic drag racing transmission. The car will attempt to set three acceleration records, including the quarter-mile record, at an NHRA-sanctioned demonstration event later this year.
