Embracer Group, the parent company of Dark Horse Comics, has announced a restructuring program that includes layoffs and potentially shutting down some gaming development. The company plans to cut down on overhead and operating expenses and focus on internal IP and external funding of large-budget games. The restructuring is aimed at transforming the company from its current heavy investment mode to a highly cash-flow generative business this year. The identity of the fleeing partner that led to the restructuring isn't known publicly.
