Denver's popular brunch spot Bodega has rebranded to Odie B's after receiving a cease-and-desist letter from Kansas City's La Bodega, which holds the trademark for the name. Owner Cliff Blauvelt decided to change the name to avoid legal battles and financial strain, despite the challenges and costs involved in the rebranding process. The new name, Odie B's, pays homage to the golden age of hip-hop and stands for Old Denver Bodega.
