Tim Cook's Meetings with Trump and Musk: Importance of Engagement in Disagreement

Apple CEO Tim Cook explained his philosophy of engagement, stating that he believes it's important to engage with people regardless of whether they agree with you or not, and even more important when there's disagreement. Cook has faced criticism for his dealings with former President Trump and Twitter CEO Elon Musk, but he believes in engaging with people despite perceived differences of opinion. Cook met with Trump several times during Washington's trade war with Beijing, and hosted Musk last fall after the Twitter CEO accused Apple of no longer advertising on Twitter and threatening to remove the social media giant from its App Store.
