The Evolution of Transformers: From Robots to Gears and Car Parts.

The upcoming Transformers movie, Rise of the Beasts, features a classic Porsche as one of its Autobot characters, Mirage. Director Steven Caple Jr. was inspired by the 1994 Porsche 911 Turbo from the film Bad Boys. The Porsche team helped select the 1993 911 Carrera RS 3.8, an ultra-rare ride, to portray Mirage, who is a rebel and upper-crust member of Autobot society. Porsche has a team dedicated to helping filmmakers place the right car into film and television projects.
