Dell Colors Up Its Budget Laptop With the 14S to Take on the MacBook Neo

Dell’s new 14S is a budget-friendly, all‑aluminum 14-inch laptop targeted at students, offering multiple color options (Linen, Dusty Rose, Washed Denim, Velvet Green), an HDMI port plus two USB-C PD/DisplayPort ports, and a choice of 2.8K 120Hz or 2K 60Hz displays. It’s powered by Intel’s Wildcat Lake Core Ultra 3 CPUs (Core 5 320 and Core 7 350) for everyday tasks, with 8–16GB RAM and 256GB–1TB storage, plus a battery designed for long use and heat management. Dell hasn’t announced the price yet, but the device is positioned as a colorful alternative to pricier laptops and the MacBook Neo, with closer pricing details to come at launch.
