TP-Link flips the switch on Wi‑Fi 8 with Archer 8 Ultra and Deco 8 Ultra at IFA 2026
TP-Link unveiled its first Wi-Fi 8 hardware at IFA 2026: the Archer 8 Ultra tri‑band router and Deco 8 Ultra mesh system, both claiming to address real‑world connectivity. Preorders for the Archer 8 Ultra begin September 30th in select regions, with Deco 8 shipping in Q1 2027 and other Wi‑Fi 8 products to follow in Q2 2027. The Archer 8 Ultra delivers up to 19 Gbps wireless and 10 Gbps wired, while the Deco 8 Ultra tops 22 Gbps wireless and 10 Gbps wired (three‑pack covers ~9,800 sq ft and 200+ devices).
