"Assessing the Bloodthirsty World of Redfall"

TL;DR Summary
IGN's review of Redfall is still in progress, but the author is underwhelmed by the game's vanilla missions and lifeless world, as well as its lengthy list of display issues and bugs. Redfall's open-world approach to a modern-day Massachusetts is a little more mundane compared to Arkane's previous games. The combat is plain, and the enemies lack the wits to put up a stimulating fight. Redfall doesn't save progression for any player but the host in co-op games, and it has a raft of performance problems, from textures that take an absolute age to pop in to disappearing characters and animations.
