"Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty Achieves Record-Breaking Sales Milestone"

CD Projekt's Cyberpunk 2077 expansion, Phantom Liberty, has sold over 4.3 million copies in its first two months, following its release on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. The success of the expansion, along with the introduction of Update 2.0, has elevated the gameplay experience in Night City. CD Projekt CEO Adam Kiciński expressed satisfaction with the launch and stated that this achievement is significant for the franchise's future development. Cyberpunk 2077 itself has sold over 25 million copies since its release in December 2020, surpassing the sales pace of The Witcher 3. CD Projekt has also announced the Cyberpunk 2077 Ultimate Edition, which includes the base game and Phantom Liberty, set to be released in select markets on December 5. The studio is now shifting its focus to other projects, including the development of the game's sequel.
