TL;DR

Square Enix announced that the original Dragon Quest Builders, a blend of Minecraft's blocks and Dragon Quest's lore, will finally be available on PC in early February, seven years after its initial release on consoles. The game's sequel, Dragon Quest Builders 2, has been available on consoles and PC since 2019, and a bundle combining both games is being sold on Steam. The sudden PC release raises questions about the timing and the possibility of an Xbox port, considering the sequel's recent release on the platform.
