"Final Fantasy 16: Massive 3 Million Launch Sales Worldwide"
TL;DR
Final Fantasy 16 has sold over 3 million copies during its launch week on PlayStation 5, making it the top overall seller. However, physical sales in the UK were significantly lower than its predecessor, Final Fantasy 15. The game's sales numbers should be considered in the context of being exclusive to the PS5, unlike previous titles. Square Enix has not announced a PC version release date yet. IGN's review praised the game's departure from traditional gameplay mechanics and highlighted its strong story, characters, and world-building.
