"Nintendo Switch Performance Review: Hogwarts Legacy"

The Nintendo Switch version of Hogwarts Legacy, while not a miracle port, manages to be better than feared. The game runs at around 30fps in non-stressful areas, but drops to around 24-25fps during battles and loading sectors. The biggest issues come from object instantiation and removal, causing stuttering and lurching. The game has been extensively redesigned for the Switch, with long loading times and reduced resolution and texture quality. Characters suffer from reduced detail and stiffer animations. Despite these drawbacks, the game is still playable and showcases impressive visuals considering the hardware limitations.
