SpaceX Sets Ambitious Goal of 144 Launches in 2024

SpaceX plans to increase its launch rate in 2024, aiming for an average of one launch every 2.5 days. The company intends to launch 144 Falcon rockets next year, primarily dedicated to deploying upgraded Starlink satellites that can directly connect with consumer cell phones. SpaceX's success in reusing Falcon 9 boosters and payload fairings has been crucial in achieving this goal, with boosters now certified for up to 20 missions. The company has also improved turnaround times at its launch pads and is optimizing its supply chain management to support the increased launch cadence.
