TL;DR

Google Calendar has removed its 11-color limit, allowing up to 200 custom colors per event (with 24 default colors) and an RGB color picker for even more hues. The feature is rolling out across web, mobile, and the Calendar API, enabled by default for Workspace and personal accounts, with broader availability over the coming weeks.
