Lenovo’s IdeaPad Vibe aims to outcolor the MacBook Neo at IFA 2026

Lenovo is unveiling the IdeaPad Vibe, a two-size (14-inch and 15-inch) productivity laptop designed to rival Apple's MacBook Neo at a similar starting price. It features an all-metal chassis, USB-C charging, more ports than the Neo, and a bold seven-color palette with customizable keycaps (keyboard is backlit; OLED touchscreen may be offered on some colors). RAM is not fully disclosed at launch—Snapdragon X models go up to 24GB and Ryzen AI 400-series up to 32GB, with up to 1TB of storage; base RAM details are unspecified. AMD and Qualcomm chips arrive in Oct/Nov, with Intel variants (Wildcat Lake) coming later. An evolution of the IdeaPad Slim, the Vibe emphasizes color, configurability, and expandability.
