Xiaomi’s 18 Fold debuts a wide, power-focused foldable at IFA 2026

Xiaomi unveiled the 18 Fold at IFA 2026, a short, wide foldable with a 7.58-inch inner and 5.38-inch outer display, powered by its Xring O3 chipset and Arm Mali G2‑Ultra NX GPU, a 6,000mAh silicon-carbon battery, 67W wired and 50W wireless charging, and a Leica-tuned triple camera. It rivals Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold 8 in form but is heavier, lacks an IP rating, and shows a more noticeable crease; China preorder starts at ¥10,999 (~$1,600) with sales on Sept 10 and no confirmed international launch yet.
