Google is set to launch its first foldable smartphone, the Pixel Fold, in June, with an announcement expected at its annual developer conference, Google I/O, on May 10. The device, known internally as "Felix," will have a durable hinge and cost upwards of $1,700, competing with Samsung's Galaxy Z Fold 4. The Pixel Fold will feature a 5.8-inch outside screen and a 7.6-inch tablet-sized screen when opened. It will be powered by Google's Tensor G2 chip and offer exclusive features not available on all Android phones. Google plans to offer incentives, including a trade-in option and a free Pixel Watch, to encourage buyers to switch to the Pixel Fold.
