New App Detects Nearby Meta Glasses, But Won’t Confirm Filming

Polish developer Pawel Szydlowski’s ZuckOff is a free Bluetooth-detection app that fingerprints signals from Meta smart glasses (Ray‑Ban Meta, Oakley Meta, Snap Spectacles) to alert you if one is nearby. It only provides rough proximity and cannot tell whether the glasses are recording or who’s wearing them. The basic scan is free; a Pro version adds continuous monitoring and history. Meta is rolling out camera‑tamper updates, while privacy concerns persist as millions of Meta glasses circulate.
