The Russian invasion of Ukraine has extended into the gaming world, with Russia threatening to ban the Ukrainian-made video game "S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2" due to its developer's support for the Ukrainian military. In response, GSC Game World, the game's developer, has offered a bounty for the destruction of the Russian frigate Admiral Grigorovich. This has led to a disinformation campaign against the game, including false claims that it collects user data for Ukrainian conscription. Despite these tensions, the game is set to release in late November.
