"Georgia's Future Total Solar Eclipses: Three More in 21st Century"

Georgia will not experience totality during the upcoming April 8 solar eclipse, but it will be in the path of totality for future total solar eclipses in 2045, 2052, and 2078. NASA advises using special-purpose solar filters or indirect viewing methods to safely observe the eclipse, and warns against using regular sunglasses or looking at the sun through cameras, binoculars, or telescopes. Additionally, several total lunar eclipses will be visible over Georgia in the coming years.
