Nintendo Switch sales reach 125 million, but future declines expected.

Nintendo's financial results for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2023, show that the company sold 17.97 million Switch units, a 22.1% decrease YoY, due to semiconductor shortages. However, software sales remained stable, with 213.96 million units sold. The company's digital business performed well, with digital sales reaching 405.2 billion yen, up 12.7% YoY. Nintendo's total sales reached 1,601.6 billion yen, with overseas sales accounting for 77.2% of the total. The company plans to release new offerings to maximize hardware sales and supplement existing titles with a continuous stream of new titles and add-on content.
