President Donald J. Trump International Airport Debuts in Palm Beach

West Palm Beach’s Palm Beach International Airport has been renamed the President Donald J. Trump International Airport; the FAA confirmed the change, with the location identifier switching from PBI to DJT (the IATA change slated for Aug. 18). Carriers are already displaying DJT in bookings while PBI remains searchable. The branding overhaul, costing about $5.5 million, is funded by Florida, with $2.75 million from the state and the rest from local budgets; Gov. DeSantis signed the bill authorizing the name change, and Eric Trump said DJT would be the first plane to land at the renamed airport.
