Israel Defense Forces prepares to strike Gaza City as residents scramble to flee

Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced that they are preparing to strike Gaza City, with troops massing on the border in anticipation of a ground invasion. The IDF stated that the focus of their next counterattack will be in northern Gaza, targeting Hamas leaders and infrastructure. The IDF has urged Gazans to evacuate to the south, with hundreds of thousands already having done so. Medics in Gaza warned of a potential humanitarian crisis if hospitals run out of supplies, as Israeli strikes have killed over 2,300 Palestinians and displaced one million people. The IDF also reported that at least 286 of its soldiers have been killed in the past week, while at least 53 people have been killed in the West Bank.
