Israel-Hamas war intensifies as IDF targets Gaza medical facilities

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) confirmed that it carried out an airstrike on a Gaza ambulance, stating that it was being used by a Hamas terrorist cell. The IDF claimed that a number of Hamas fighters were killed in the strike. Meanwhile, Oxfam expressed grave concern for the half a million civilians trapped in northern Gaza, describing it as a "siege within a siege." The World Health Organization (WHO) director general expressed shock at reports of attacks on ambulances near al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza. The French Cultural Institute and the Gaza office of Agence France-Presse (AFP) were also reportedly hit by Israeli strikes. Additionally, two women in London have been charged with terrorism offenses for carrying photos of paragliders in support of Hamas, and the White House confirmed that 100 US citizens and their family members have left Gaza.
