Ukraine seeks 40-50 F-16 jets from allies.

Ukraine is seeking to receive 40-50 F-16 fighter jets from its allies to defend its skies from Russian bombardments, according to Yuriy Sak, adviser to the Minister of Defense of Ukraine. President Zelensky wants combat jets to be discussed at the G7 summit in Hiroshima and the annual NATO summit in Lithuania. Although some allies do not have F-16s to offer, Ukraine hopes they will encourage allies such as the US and Turkey to provide them.
